IT'S FREE!

“Miracle Mile Art Walk” is organized by the Arts & Recreation Committee of the Mid City WEST Community Council which promotes and supports the visual and performing arts & recreational venues by identifying the participating organizations, supporting their community outreach, and ensuring their long term viability as stakeholders.

The March host gallery is Jack Rutberg Fine Arts, 357 N. La Brea Ave. An artist lecture and opening reception will be held at 2 p.m. Food for the reception is generously donated by Tasca

Restaurant. Balloons will identify the gallery. A special gallery tour of three additional galleries will follow the artist lecture. Guests will ride the Holly Trolley to the galleries, where the gallery directors or artists will introduce the gallery and exhibit.

The Holly Trolley shuttle, courtesy of Councilmen Tom LaBonge and Jack Weiss, will make a continuous loop stopping near galleries (look for balloons for trolley stops), beginning at Merry Karnowsky Gallery at 170 S. La Brea Ave. DASH and Metro buses will also service the area. Bicycle groups are encouraged. Guests are encouraged to walk or ride between each participating gallery. Mention Art Walk for free entrance to LACMA & MAK Center.
